The Char Dham Yatra is the spiritual heart of Himalayan pilgrimages, drawing lakhs each year to the sacred shrines of Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath nestled in Uttarakhand’s lush valleys and snow-clad mountains. Designed to bring inner peace, blessing, and the promise of moksha (salvation), this yatra follows an ancient, revered route aligned with the sources of the Yamuna, Ganga, Mandakini, and Alaknanda rivers. It isn’t just a trip—it’s a life-changing journey soaked in tradition, devotion, incredible scenery, and unforgettable human stories.
Four Sacred Temples:
Yamunotri (3,291 m): Birthplace of River Yamuna; start your journey here with a 6 km trek from Janki Chatti.
Gangotri (3,042 m): Source of the River Ganga, set amid pine forests and legends.
Kedarnath (3,583 m): Home to one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Shiva, accessible by a scenic (and emotional) trek from Gaurikund.
Badrinath (3,133 m): Vishnu’s holy seat on the Alaknanda; here you’ll soak in thermal springs and meet sadhus and pilgrims from around the world.
Mythic Rivers & Valley Views:
Touch the mythic waters and witness some of the most dramatic Himalayan panoramas on earth.
Soulful Connections:
This is a yatra for seekers, families, first-timers, and adventurers alike—a chance to reflect and be moved by the warmth, traditions, and enduring faith of the locals.
